Precision Racing Components, Race Proven Engine Modifications for your Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha

PRC was the second company to manufacture products for four-stroke minibikes in the US. Since all of our products are designed, tested, and manufactured in house, we can make a change or resolve a problem with a product in a matter of a few hours unlike our competitors who have to relay on someone else to institute a change, contact an overseas manufacturer, etc. That's why we pledge "If you can break it, we'll replace it." Our no questions asked 100% replacement warranty.

A bit of background: PRC was originally limited to the production of aftermarket ATV products but always spent backyard time on Z50's. When the mini scene began (locally [the deceased MiniMX series] and nationally) we decided to concentrate our efforts (full time) on the Honda Z & XR50. Having raced competitively in MX and BMX for decades, it was a logical decision to combine our love of motocross and of minis in particular with our varied skills.

We've been playing with Z50's & CT70's since, well, the 70's! That's why our motors per cc will beat anything out there! This is to say that bolt together "bought that kit on Ebay" motors just don't work. Do you think your favorite pro racer pieces together his motor with mismatched parts or merely has his mechanic install a bore kit? Definitely not! They rely on the expertise of professional engine builders. A recognized shop that does quite a bit more than bolt together an armful of "off the shelf" parts. We pride ourselves on building the fastest motors out there for the least amount of money. Offering you, the average racer, backyard racer, or pro the benefit of decades of experience coupled with products and processes that ensure a moto win. Off the shelf is for dummies that would rather spend thousands to loose, plain and simple. Sure bling is fun and you should always look good but going fast is what wins races. For example, several of our competitors offer complete engines as well as motor kits that cost thousands (case in point the 124 SE motor). For one quarter of the cost we can build you a PRC race motor that will out perform it day after day. It is a proven fact that our 110cc stroker motor will outperform a 124 kitted cloan, our Hi-Comp 88's burry 107's & 8's, and our stock bore (yes, you read that correctly) demolish standard 88cc kitted "bolt on" motors. No joke, it plays out week after week here in PA. We won't even begin to describe how our 128cc strokers demoralize the competition. It's just not worth the time. So, what's the difference? Kit's are good right? Of course they are but they're only one piece of the horsepower puzzle. We begin with bare cases, and employ all of our little tricks (that money can buy, and that you probably haven't heard of) to provide our customers with a reliable, race winning motor from 50cc's - 250cc's, from XR/CRF50's to XR/CRF200's.

If you've found our site consider yourself lucky. We're the best kept secret in mini-motocross. Unfortunately we don't have the advertising budget to fill magazines with flashy adds barking bull****, we're rarely reviewed in magazines (though we have been praised in several). Chances are you've probably already purchased a copy of one of our products from a competitor. We've noticed that it typically takes about two to three years for the industry to catch up or catch on to an innovative product or service that oozes out of our little shop here in Saylorsburg, PA.

Case in point, the XR50 pictured below.

It was built more than 3 years ago. It took 10 days to build and cost less than $2,500. It has 8" of fork travel and 10" of travel in the rear. Until recently, it was still state of the art! It was the first to have what can be considered huge suspension travel for an XR, the first with forward bar risers, dropped foot-peg carrier, 13" of ground clearance, and the first to employ a traditional swingarm design. At the time of it's release, it was regarded as a "pig on stilts" by a Mason, scoffed at by others who viewed the more traditional 3" of suspension travel as the wave of the future. Three years later you can buy a copy of it's design from many of our competitors for well over twice the price! That's value at it's best. Not to mention, now a vintage ride worthy of press.

We hate to ramble, to compare, to defend. Though it has been a long five years. We've taken our hits from "brothers" (those coupled and racing), "minis who've made it big" and 50's who aren't so fast anymore. So dearest consumer, thank you for stopping by. If you've waded through all the muck that is the mini scene and found your way to our site you truly are lucky.
