Description
Pikes Peak Romance Writers (PPRW) is a chapter of Romance Writers of America® (RWA). PPRW is a non-profit organization which meets to exchange market news, writing tips, and provide support and encouragement to members. Both published and unpublished writers are welcome with the understanding that the focus is -- and shall remain -- on writing romantic fiction.
We publish a monthly newsletter, the PikeSpeak, hold monthly meetings, and conduct a variety of other activities throughout the year. Though attending meetings is not a requirement, it is a definite perk. Some of the other activities include but are not limited to: Aspiring Author get-togethers, critique sessions, practice readings for agent/editor appointments, carpools to area events, and booksignings galore!
PPRW regularly holds its meetings the fourth Sunday of each month, with adjustments to accommodate holidays or special events, at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Falcon Police Station, 7850 Goddard Street, Colorado Springs, CO. A Board meeting precedes the regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. at the same location. All members are always welcome.
