Peace Palace Library, home of International Law
Description
The Library of the Peace Palace has one of the world's largest collections in the field of international law, public and private law, and foreign national law, as well as an extensive collection on international political and diplomatic history and the history of peace movements. Also, we house the Grotius Collection , the collection on the important 17th century Dutchman Hugo de Groot, founder of the science of international law.
getting there : you can visit the Peace Palace by public transport or by car. There is limited parking space outside the Peace Palace gates (paid parking: coins or chipknip, €1,50 hourly). You can also take a tram (two zones each way).
before 10 am - after 3 pm: tram 10, direction Statenkwartier, from ground floor outside train station (direct service, peak hours only)
