- In 1966, Georgetown, Willow Springs and Pottsboro ISDs consolidated to form Pottsboro Consolidated School. Superintendent Grady Brewster wrote this message to the freshmen class of 1966, "It has been your privilege to publish the first yearbook for a new school district. It will also be your privilege three years from now to be the first graduation class to attend all four years at the Pottsboro Consolidated Schools."
