The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Federal Bridge Corporation Limited (FBCL), a crown corporation reporting to Transport Canada. JCCBI is financed mainly through parliamentary appropriations. Revenues from other sources such as leases and licenses also contribute to its funding but in a minor way. The Corporations’ main activities fall into two specific sectors, namely Engineering and Construction, and Operations and Maintenance.
