Polyplas Pty Ltd was originally named Polyplas Engineering. This company was born in 1992 with Greg Braemar as managing director. Polyplas Engineering started off supplying 'Plastic and Rubber Products' for the 'Insulated Panel and Coolroom Industries' in Victoria, Australia. The product range quickly expanded to not only include 'Mushroom Heads' and 'Two Leg Gasket', but also 'PVC Fascia' and 'Insertion Rubber'. It was not long before the product range also included 'Delrin Wheels' and 'Steel Axle Assembly'.
Greg Braemar has over 20 years experience in the 'Sheet Rubber', 'O-Ring', 'Rubber and Polyurethane Moulding', 'Plastic Injection Moulding' and 'PVC Extrusion Moulding' industries. He has gained this experience through working for a number of companies that included ie: 'Aluminium', 'Steel', 'Stainless Steel', 'Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal', 'Gun Metal' and 'Brass' foundries and 'Plastic' related organisations.
In 1998 there was a name change to Polyplas Pty Ltd. This coincided with Ned Braithwaite becoming a 50 % shareholder-Director. Ned's background had been in the 'Insulated Panel Industries'. Originally from country New South Wales, Australia, Ned had spent 8 years running a panel manufacturing plant in Victoria.
