In the Hot Rod world the name of George Polley is synonymous with sideways Ford Anglias and titanic oval tustles with the like of Barry Lee and Ormond Christie. Not that George has raced National Hot Rods for over ten years now. Dabbles in circuit racing with a Sierra Cosworth in the late 80's and then back to the beloved Anglia in the ICS Historics series have kept George busy, as has his motorsport business and association with Yokohama tyres.
Now, however, he's back on the ovals at a local level racing Sierra-based Lightning Rods and freely admitting that the National Hot Rod scene is now beyond his ambitions, not to mention the limit he's prepared to pay!
