- P & L Heat Treating & Grinding, Inc., Youngstown, Ohio, has been in business for 30 years; it was incorporated in 1978 and started production in 1979 by President William H. Pociask. P & L Heat Treating started out with limited equipment including two high-heat austenitizing furnaces, two tempering furnaces, and a rotary surface grinder, with 2,500 ft² of space. By 1982, a second building was added, in turn, doubling the company’s size.
