Playscripts, Inc. is an independent publisher of new plays, established in 1998 by brothers Douglas and Jonathan Rand for the mutual benefit of playwrights and theaters worldwide.
Our exclusive catalogue of new plays was officially released in March 2000, and has grown to include 562 plays by 295 authors. These plays represent a great diversity of voices, styles, and stories, and have been enjoyed in 59 countries. Playscripts licenses amateur and professional productions, publishes both acting editions and binder books, and markets the plays through print advertising, online promotions, theater conferences, and our print catalogue. Our catalogue is shipped annually to over 40,000 recipients worldwide.
