Plant Development Services Incorporated (PDSI)-Plants by Mail. PDSI was founded in late 1996 as a wholesale nursery devoted to researching, developing, and selling new and improved plant varieties. PDSI-Plants by Mail is the mail order division to PDSI. PDSI has developed many new ornamental plants including disease resistant Indian HawthorneTM, the Red HollyTM Hybrids, and the Abelia Grandiflora, ‘Confetti’TM. Especially exciting are the Encore AzaleaTM hybrids, the azalea that knows no blooming season. The Encore AzaleaTM blooms twice a year, with greater duration than your typical azalea. They bloom from late July to the first frost, and then again in the spring.
Our mail order division caters to individual gardeners and plant enthusiasts. We would like you to have immediate access to the new plants that we are developing. We will also offer a full selection of past and present favorites to spruce up your garden or yard. We will be adding to this list as we continue along in our new business adventure. We think that we have the best plants available, grown by the best in the business. If there is a plant that you are looking for that is not on the list, call us and we will try to get it for you, and consider it for our future product lists.
Our parent company, Flowerwood Nursery, has been a leader in the nursery industry for over 65 years. We have incorporated the great traditions and leadership of Flowerwood Nursery and turned that towards developing superior, new plants for the 21st century American Landscape.
