The Genesis of PintCulture.com
As far as we know, the entire concept for this website was initiated during one of Chief Alasondro Alegre and Sir Stewart Wallace’s marathon boozing sessions, most probably while they were both while fishing together on Alasondro’s yacht somewhere near the northern coast of Fiji.
It all happened somewhere around the time that Australian Football had just gone down the toilet....again. The National Soccer League had just been put down, the Socceroos were beginning yet another overly optimistic World Cup qualification campaign and Greece had shocked the International Football community to be crowned undisputed 2004 European Champions.
The Rookie, Vic Colfari, had received an email completely out of the blue from Sir Stewart. One of those "Long time no see, by the way, how would you like to start a website with us" type of emails. Several more emails, phone calls and pub sessions later, the wheels were well and truly in motion…
