- When I travel around the county to library conferences, I continue to hear about the need for books for Spanish speaking children. So I challenged our Picture Window Books team to respond to these requests. Last year, we had 120 of our Read-It! Readers translated into conversational Spanish and the response has been fantastic! This season, we've translated 30 of our most popular nonfiction science titles. We're also exploring some bilingual possiblilities. Also new this season is the addition of Lexile® measuring for Fall 06 and Spring 07 titles. We plan to add Lexile® measurements to all of our books during this next year.
