PHOENIX HEALTH & BEAUTY has been developed to provide each student with the necessary training and personal development to enable them to reach their full potential and achieve their desired outcomes. Having been involved within the beauty industry for the past 20 years as a salon owner, college lecturer & chief examiner for City & Guilds, I am in the very fortunate position of having experience in many areas of good practice, both in further education and private schools, on which to base my business. During this lengthy period I became aware that there was a need for a training school that treated students as individuals, delivered quality training with quality products in sophisticated surroundings, and one that could work closely with the students to build their own businesses with ongoing support, hence the development in 2001 of my own training school in Chelmsford; PHOENIX SCHOOL OF HEALTH & BEAUTY and from September 2004 PHOENIX NAIL ACADEMY and from April 2005 PHOENIX ASSOCIATION. I am determined that all our students receive high quality training for an appropriate length of time, not only to reach high standards but to maintain those standards and enable them to improve the level of service and professionalism of our industry. We offer City & Guilds qualifications at levels 2 & 3, believing the rigor and quality of City & Guilds qualifications are renowned worldwide. The qualifications achieved will enable you to join various professional bodies representing the beauty industry and gain insurance to work. We offer training in a variety of ways: daytime school hours and term time only, evenings, Saturday school; skills workshops are also held on Sundays for maximum flexibility.
