The Magic Hat Summer Variety Show rolls into the Fleisher Art Memorial for one stellar night with a classic variety show that promises something for everyone: circus, sideshow, vaudeville and burlesque presented in unique Bindlestiff style. 8 p.m. Tickets $20 at the door, $15 for Fleisher members and those dressed in clown or circus gear.

Larry Platt, editor of Philadelphia magazine, would like to invite you to the inaugural "Philadelphia Talks" event at 6 p.m. on June 15th at the National Constitution Center. Platt will kick off the stimulating and entertaining discussion series by moderating a conversation on the 2007 mayoral race featuring two of the nation's wisest and most irreverent political consultants: Philly's own Neil Oxman and Chris Mottola.
