- PharmaTelevision is the world’s first online television media channel for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, offering news highlights, trend analysis and feature interviews with industry experts. PharmaTelevision is produced by ex-BBC/ITV producers to broadcast quality.
Since its launch in May 2006, PharmaTelevision has conducted over 120 television interviews with senior executives in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, including Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Lilly, AstraZeneca, Merck and Bristol Myers Squibb. It has also produced 12 analysis business reports covering trends in the industry. Interviews are made available once a week. In this time we have attracted thousands of viewers monthly world-wide, the vast majority of which are key decision makers including CEOs, CFOs, SVPs, VPs, licensing/business development executives.
Each programme is available 24/7 on the Internet as a free-to-view option. It is also available through Apple’s iTunes and downloadable onto all iPod formats.
The use of professional television recording services such as ITV’s Millbank Studios, London, have enabled us to increasingly recruit high level CEOs to the programme and thereby ensure that our global audience continues to receive the industry insight they need. Moreover, in 2008, in addition to London, we have conducted recent TV recordings in Boston, San Francisco, San Diego, Sydney, Brisbane, Madrid and Geneva.
In June 2008 PharmaTelevision launched The Regional Review a series of programmes focused on the key regions of the world where significant investment in pharmaceutical and biotech has taken place.
In July 2008 PharmaTelevision launched The Financial Report, a series of programmes focused on the financial results of publicly traded biotech and pharmaceutical companies. This series allows investors and fund managers to learn more about the financial performance of the feature biotech companies.
