Petersen-Arne started in 1940 as the "Eugene Notions Company" selling general dry goods, including suspenders and wool socks for loggers. The company was purchased by Herman Petersen and Glen Arne in 1959, originating the current name. In 1998, current owner operators Craig Curtis and Cynthia Morris purchased the company, breathing into Petersen-Arne new enthusiasm, dedication, and fresh perspective to grow the company towards a new generation of distribution.
