Description
I have been a china-painter for much of my life and, for the past few years I have combined this passion with my love of animals, concentrating on portraits painted on a wide variety of china items. My work has been exhibited at Crufts, The Supreme Cat Show
and at The Kennel Club’s London show, "Discover Dogs". Examples have been sold to breed clubs and pet lovers all over the world. I use only the best English Bone China, made in The Potteries, and I paint with on-glaze enamels. The work is then fired through a kiln which means that it is food-safe, impervious to heat and cleaning solvents and may be put in a dish-washer. When you supply me with a clear — although not necessarily professional — photograph, I can create a faithful portrait, depicting the confirmation, colour and character of your pet. You may specify whether you would like a head-study or the full body and the final product provides a cherished memento of an important family member, or a very personal gift.
