In 2001, a few of us came together and decided to open a pet store. We wanted to change the way people purchase pets from stores. We wanted to make the experience better not only for the people shopping for pets, but for the animals as well. There were some key pieces that we felt we had to do differently, things like pens instead of cages for the puppies, and no purchasing puppies from puppy mills. We knew that we could develop a pet store that would help people find the right match for them, and one that could find the right match for the pets we carried. With this idea came the creation of Pet Central, Inc.
We at Pet Central strive to make your search for that special addition to your family a pleasant one. We pledge to do what we can to make sure you get the right pet for you. We will spend whatever time it takes to guarantee your happiness. If you know what you want and we don't have it, we will do our best to get it for you.
