Walter Clay (Dub) Dixson, a native and lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas, retired in 1986 after forty years service from Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., an international business information company.
There he spent thirty years as a business credit reporter, interviewing business owners and executives, conducting research and investigations and writing biographies and financial analysis. The last ten years he served as manager of customer service.
With a long-time fascination with Texas history, he was inspired by the interesting family letters and stories of the 1800's collected and saved by his grandfather, Alec Dixson. Feeling compelled to preserve these treasured facts of his family heritage, they are a vital part of "Richland Crossing."
