Described in the trade as the most popular supplier of blank tapes to the broadcast industry, it's not commonly known that the company's starting place was in feature film duplication for some of the top American film distributors. Jamie Swanson, pictured left presenting an award at the IoV's Annual Awards dinner, started with Global Video Services in the late seventies - and has seen many changes since then.
Penridge Tele-Video have recently closed a deal giving them a distribution point near the M25 to enable a same day delivery service for London clients, but are seeking agents in London not only to distribute blank tape for them but also to liaise with corporate duplication clients.
For those of you who haven't visited their beautiful premises at Droitwich (right on junction 5 of the M5) you can be assured that Sue makes an excellent cup of tea.
