Peggy Myrick Knight is a natural artist who began sketching at the age of five and painted a self-portrait in watercolor at the age of nine. She was advertising and display manager for a large department store for twelve years. This creative job naturally led to painting flowers, landscapes, portraits, and numerous other commissions. She is a master in all mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels.
The magnolia with its rich, glossy leaves is one of the most beautiful flowers painted by the artist. The creamy, fragrant blooms are unforgettable!
Peggy's work has hung in the White House, banks, churches, and private collections. A magnolia painting has hung on the set of an NBC affiliate TV station for several years.
