Description
Pegasus Productions was initiated in 1987 by the ALAMAZE game designer and original programmer, Rick McDowell, to process the game of ALAMAZE. It had its origins in south Florida where it produced the various games of ALAMAZE until it was relocated to Waynesville, NC effective March 1, 1991.
The move to North Carolina began many changes. Pegasus Productions was now owned and operated by Philip and Patrick McDowell. Customer service was greatly improved as a result of direct involvement by the two principals and additional support personnel. The turnaround time for processing and forwarding of all games now met schedules. We were also able to take advantage of the great changes in computers and software and began to reprogram ALAMAZE. Although this was a massive undertaking the end result provided the players appreciable reductions in errors and allowed Pegasus to build upon the multiple award winning design.
Utilizing the new program and suggestions of many players, the four scenarios of ALAMAZE have been, and continue to be, enhanced. Special care to assure the integrity and often envied game balance has been maintained as a paramount importance.
