- Hey, all, I'm really excited to show off this year's Festival poster, designed and illustrated by our special guest, Derek Kirk Kim! The design is exclusive to the Stumptown Comics Fest, and these gorgeous 18x24" prints will be available at the show, while supplies last! Click on the image for a larger view! Also, don't forget that the Early Registration Deadline is coming up in just one short week! That's right, starting on August 1st half-tables for the Fest will cost $20, and full tables will cost $40. Tables are filling up, so make sure you get your registration forms in soon! And finally, I'll be putting up the full Event Schedule soon, we've got a full day planned, starting with a Q&A session with Derek Kirk Kim; video presentations by both Michel Gagné, and J.R. Williams & Dennis Eichhorn; A panel concerning censorship moderated by Shannon Wheeler, a screening of a locally-made documentary about the Portland comics scene, and wrapping up with the triumphant return of the infamous Comic Art Battle! All are welcome and none will survive this Crucible of Comix Chaos! Adult toons are becoming more and more popular and are gathering a real cult following; sites like busty toons are really becoming hot favourites of toon fanatics.
