Who are you?
I’m Paul Jason Holden, you can call me Paul, PJ, paulj, peej or sundry other permutations (I won’t answer to most of them, but still). I’m a Northern Ireland based comic artist who is still struggling to move out of the real world of day jobs and wages and into the endlessly cool world of full time comic drawing. I’ve drawn for 2000AD, Fantagraphics, Eros, Warhammer and Toxic! (no, not that one, Toxic! from Egmont is a kids comic). Currently attempting to break the American market.
What’s the site about?
Originally the site was to document my progress in breaking into comics, but as I managed that before the first post the site’s been a little aimless since. Now, however, after resting for about a year (new 1 year old son saw to that) I’m prepared for a whole new assault on comics - aiming at America. So the site will document that as well as hold lots and lots of blogstrips.
What’s a Blogstrip?
Well, it’s essentially a tiny, tiny comic. Between two and several panels in length. I’m writing them and drawing them as they occur to me,
