Passages is the leading provider of services for people with a disability or other barriers to living, learning, playing or working in the community. Passages was established in 1954 by a group of dedicated parents interested in providing a school for their children who were not being educated in the public schools. At that time the Whitley County Opportunity Center , now Passages Inc., opened it's doors to adults with disabilities with 13 clients and three staff members.
