It all began in 1945, out of the Pacific Northwest - Seattle, Washington to be exact. The outerwear industry was in its infancy, limited to a line of raincoats and outerwear in the basic colors of black, navy and loden green.As a family owned business, Pacific Trail set out to satisfy the changing tastes of an America tired of the basic outerwear so prevalent during the war years.
