About PaMidstate MEDIA

I started in 1997 by creating a website for Carlisle, Pa. to learn website design and start building sites for clients. It turned out that event listings on that site were the most viewed section - by more than 5 times other sections! By 1999, a website called PaMidstate was born, to allow users to post events for free to a forum that would list a broad spectrum of events. This was after a few really large event sites - but quite a bit before lists from AOL's Digital City or even before PennLive was born.
