Title
OUI, the Offline Usenet Interface
Description
OuiSoft was formed in June, 1999, for the purpose of purchasing the rights to a software program called OUI. OUI stands for Offline Usenet Interface.
My name is Ed Pulliam, I am the president of OUISoft. I live in Janesville, Wisconsin, USA. My partners and I started OuiSoft to continue the distribution and further development of OUI after the former owners had determined that they lacked the resources and time to continue the development and support of the program. We also wanted to offer other hardware, software, and computer related products to our web visitors.
In early 2001, we began a plan to split off our shopping venue to a seperate web site. In April, 2001, OUISoft launched a new service, ComputerStuffCheap.com as a shopping site for computer "Stuff - Cheap".
