Wilhelmina Eichelberg Solleveld, namesake of Oma's, was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Holland). She was raised in the Old World culture and traditions of the Dutch. She always wore her wooden shoes to work in her garden. The Oma left us in May of 2003.
Geertruida Gesina Solleveld Twardowski, oldest daughter of The Oma, was also born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Though moving to the States at an early age, she has never forgotten her Dutch Heritage (or the recipes). Spending most everyday at the bakery, she would enjoy seating you for breakfast or lunch.
AnneMarieke Solleveld Riches, youngest daughter of The Oma, was born in Heemskerk, Netherlands. As strong willed as any Dutch could be, she keeps a warm place in her heart for the Land of Windmills. As the primary chef, she will tantalize your palate with her culinary delights.
