The SA Travel centre Group (SATC) is one of the top three travel consortiums in South Africa, and has a turnover in excess of R2 billion per annum. The concept is based on the internationally successful Lufthansa City Center franchise and was established in South Africa seven years ago (1997). SATC is fully owned by South African Airways and is headed by CEO Michael Stöltzing.

The Group now operates more than 180 branches and offers four distinct brands: SA Travel centre, and Worldchoice as leisure brands, and SA Travel centre Business Plus as one of the country’s top corporate travel brands. It has also introduced a new Worldchoice Affiliation solution, known as ‘Member of Worldchoice’, tailor-made for small, independent travel agencies which provides limited access to SA Travel centre Group benefits.
