Description
The Oberlin Area Chamber of Commerce is established to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Oberlin Area so that its citizens and all areas of the business community shall prosper. The organization shall work in cooperation with the City of Oberlin and Oberlin Main Street, Inc., to promote the economic, civic, commercial, cultural, industrial, and educational interests of the area.
The Oberlin Area Chamber of Commerce boasts a membership of over 170 Oberlin businesses and organizations including educational institutions, non-profits, industrial, retail, and dining. Member events throughout the year include an annual meeting every February, quarterly business luncheons, and annual family picnic, and The Festival of Trees fund raising gala. The Oberlin Area Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) which allows us to provide membership benefits including discounts on medical insurance, worker's compensation insurance, long term care insurance, and credit card processing discount rates. The organization is managed by a ten member board representing every aspect of the Oberlin Community and a part-time Chamber Director. The members and staff of the Oberlin Area Chamber of Commerce would be pleased to welcome you as our newest member!
