Description
There is clearly a need for exploring these phenomena since they are part of the spectrum of human spiritual development. To that end, OBERF is changing it's focus to learn the most about the consciousness when it separates from the body, provide support for those who are interested in sharing, and to scientifically research the phenomena so that it can be freely accepted in the world today.
OBERF does not solicit contributions and has nothing for sale. This web site is a free public service. We do not proselytize. We welcome and encourage all people of all backgrounds, nationalities, countries, and religions to read and participate on the website.
Jeffrey Long, M.D. is a physician practicing the specialty of radiation oncology (use of radiation to treat cancer) in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Long serves on the Board of Directors of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies), and is actively involved in NDE research. Dr. Long developed this web site.
