NurseTown.com lists nursing jobs and nursing opportunities plus career advice

Title

Nursing jobs. Travel nurse.

Description

When we founded nursetown.com we did it with the intention of making it a nursing community website anchored by a strong employment section to serve both the job seeking public and the nurse hiring sector. Our intention was to begin with articles about nursing and health related issues, discussions about anything our audience asks for, and jobs in all fifty states and Canada. After that basic backbone was established, (it has been), we have added sections and features that our audience or our editors deem interesting. We hope we are professional without being stodgy, informative without having so much information that you can't find what you want, fun without forgetting that nursing is serious business, and most of all, being a place on the Internet that you want to come back to again and again because we are useful and relevant.

On our home page you will find links to almost everything you want to visit in nursetown.com. It starts with the articles section. There you will find articles on everything from the nursing shortage and career advice, to "Incredible Nursing Stories", to serious health issues, to humor. The home page generally has about ten recently posted articles listed but if you click the tab right below the current articles you will find a treasure trove of additional articles. The discussion groups area is a free-for-all dictated by you, the audience. Some are serious, some of them are humorous but seldom are they boring. You can participate by just browsing or you can jump in and voice an opinion. It is your area.

Search for jobs will take you to the general job listings. Click on the state of your choice and jobs that employers have listed for that state will pop up. You will first see a brief listing of the job details and if that looks like something you are interested in knowing more about just click on the "details" button. Then if you want to apply or speak directly with the employer click on the "apply" tab and you are put in direct contact with the job poster. You can email more questions or go ahead and send them your resume. If you don't have a resume, fill out the short "mini-interview" and we will forward it to them.
