WHO WE ARE

Founded early in 1997, the National Résumé Writers' Association (NRWA) is a not-for-profit, member-driven organization dedicated to promoting high standards of excellence through mentoring, education, and support services. NRWA has members from all over the United States, as well as Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, Jamaica, and Brazil.

Some of our members are home-based and others work from retail offices. Some are full-time entrepreneurs and others work part-time. Our group includes writers, recruiters, counselors, and other employment and career-related professionals. We are a diverse group-all dedicated to supporting each other and improving quality in the industry.

NRWA has attracted many talented industry leaders, and our members have received a high level of media attention. Nearly two-thirds have been published in books or other national publications. Approximately 40% have written articles or columns on résumés or career issues in national or local publications. Half have been featured in local or regional newspapers and 25% have appeared on local television or radio. In addition, more than 50% have been guest speakers at college career fairs and conferences.
