The National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP), is located in New York City. Founded in 1948, NPAP is dedicated to advancements in the practice of non-medical psychoanalysis. Our founders believed, as did Sigmund Freud, that psychoanalytic training and practice should be open to creative and talented professionals from all fields of study. NPAP is both a Membership Society and a Training Institute.
