- Based in Petaluma, California, Now Media Group was originally founded with the purpose of helping to find an easy and simple fund-raising method for schools. A local parcel tax had failed twice in our community, and this had a significant impact on local school programs. We recognized that schools are continuously trying to generate revenues to fund various programs with ever-increasing difficulty. Traditional fundraising methods range from having bake sales and selling Christmas wrapping paper, to having corporations advertising their products in schools themselves.
