History of WC & AN Miller Realtors
The company was one of the first builders in Washington to create a "community look" with its two-block development along Woodley Road in 1920. The Miller brothers went a step further in 1923 with their new community at Wesley Heights, along Klingle Street near New Mexico Avenue. One of the first "planned" communities in the nation, Wesley Heights residents had access to such amenities as a community club house, a shuttle service to and from the streetcar stop on Wisconsin Avenue, and a community newsletter called "The Leaves of Wesley Heights," inaugurated in 1925. In 1929, the company took a bold step in its master plan for Spring Valley in Northwest Washington.
