Nicola was born in Alberta, Canada, the sixth of eight children, and raised in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Prince Edward Island. She lives in Sidney on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Her pashions are chocolate, mysteries and more chocolate.
Nicola is a member of the Crime Writers of Canada and Sisters in Crime. She also inspires would-be mystery writers by teaching classes in story construction and technique at local colleges.
