Description
Dan Egger-Belandria created New World Synergy to contribute to a new business environment that demands increased diversity and cross-cultural awareness. Egger-Belandria draws from a wide range of professional and personal experiences to make New World Synergy successful. Since moving to Colorado in 1996, he has "made a difference" in companies such as U.S. West, Sun Microsystems, Swedish Medical Center, Wells Fargo, Coors and StorageTek among others. Before moving to Denver, he lived in Chicago and worked in various corporate communications roles for The McDonald's Corporation, The Quaker Oats Company and MindSight Business Communications. Egger-Belandria earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a bachelor's degree in English and Spanish from Saint Louis University.
Egger-Belandria's passion for travel and multicultural adventure plays an important role in New World Synergy. He has lived and studied abroad in Venezuela, Spain and the U.S., and he has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Caribbean and South America. These combined living and traveling experiences help make New World Synergy much more than conventional diversity training; clients continually comment that Egger-Belandria's unique background adds value and perspective to his work.
For his work in New World Synergy, Egger-Belandria was nominated for the 1998 Denver Mayor's Excellence in the Arts award, and he has presented in renowned events such as the Norwest Culturefest, the Denver People's Fair and the 1998 National Diversity Conference.
