- Hello;To introduce myself firstly.I am Greg and I left London,UK in 1988.On this site are my views of leaving my Home country and assimilating into Finnish life.I began to realise early on that that there is a vast difference in customs and culture between the two countries.On this site and within these pages,I aim to show some of those differences and how as a foreigner I was seen and how I saw the new life unfolding infront of me.If you yourself are thinking of moving abroad,please feel free to post your thoughts and experiences here on this site.I shall be adding further posts to this one as and when the inspiration flashes, I have alot of good and bad feelings after living here for some 20 years.But if I honestly weighed them up,I am in the best place in the world.To be honest I find it laborious to return Home,………………………………………Greg I was Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 4 years ago.The daily living and coping with an Auto-Immune disease has slowly changed the way I look at and confront life.I have no real regrets,only one;I wish I had done more earlier on,even though I have travelled the World when in the Merchant Navy.I have posted about the diagnosis today 18 April 2009
