About Us
A New Beginning School of Massage has provided quality training in a supportive atmosphere since 1994. Our teaching staff has many years of experience and are well known in the Austin massage community. We limit our class size to only 17 students per class. The small classes enable our staff to provide personalized instruction and to help each student individually as needed.
A New Beginning is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) and is certified by the U.S. Department of Education.
Our school's graduates enjoy an all-time pass rate of 95% (one of the highest in the state) on the Texas Massage Therapy State Board Examination - compared to a statewide average pass rate of 80%. The school offers 8 hours of State Board Review classes that cover both the hands-on and written portions of the exam.
