The Navy SEAL Ranks carry with them a fierce reputation that is well deserved. The first step in leadership as sailors continue through the Navy Ranks in Order comes with the promotion to Petty Officer beginning with Petty Officer Third Class. The first tier of Navy officer Ranks consists of Warrant Officers. It all starts with the Navy Enlisted Ranks as a Seaman’s Recruit (SR), this position carries no insignia and is the first stage of development for the Navy.
