The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) is a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and human rights of illicit drug users around the globe as well as the rights of those living in communities in developing countries who rely on opium, coca, cannabis etc for their survival! NAP originally formed in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, however, an expansion is underway.
The Network Against Prohibition (NAP) was formed on the 7th of March 2002 as a response to the Northern Territory Labor Government's 'drug house' legislation and as a response to the human rights abuses faced by drug users in the Northern Territory and around the globe.
The NAP is based in Darwin in Australia's Northern Territory (NT). It is a network of illicit drug users (current and former), their friends, family members and supporters.
