- NAMI Maryland Lower Shore is one of 15 affiliates in Maryland, which formed in the late 1980's. Family members seeking help for their ill relative have come together and become involved by taking the free 12-week Family-to-Family Education Course. Some have gone on to be trained as teachers themselves so they can continue to bring this up-to-date and relevant information to others. If you have a loved one with mental illness, this course is for you. Call today to find out when the next class starts. We serve Worcester, Wicomico and Somerset Counties.
