After living in Santa Fe, New Mexico for thirty years, Thia has recently relocated her Yoga Imaging studio to Manitou Springs, Colorado.
Thia teaches a blend of styles with a strong emphasis on precise alignment drawn from her Iyengar background and practice since 1972. Her flowing style is innovative and playful. She focuses on breathing deeply during asana practice to increase the energy flow through the nadis to balance and stimulate the chakras. This opens energy blocks throughout the body which helps the glands and organs stay healthy and toned. Each session she teaches is a balanced array of asanas to work on strength and flexibility from head to toe.
She is known for her sense of humor and drive. Her classes are fun and challenging, with a goal to educate students to work hard in class, have fun, giggle a little and stay light to brighten the spirit.
