John Lynch has always had a keen interest in electronics or as it used to be known as "the wireless". He was called up for national service but signed on for 5 years as a Wireless Fitter in the RAF. Served in Wiltshire, Little Rissington - Gloucestershire, Strubby (Manby) Lincolnshire, Aldergrove - Northern Ireland, Khormaksar -Aden and Christmas Island.
