Description
About the Municipal League
Since 1910, the Municipal League of King County has been a voluntary civic organization dedicated to effective and responsive government. League members are people like you, interested in maintaining good government and willing to get involved. They read the League's Issue Watch and Muni News publications to stay informed about the issues facing local governments. They join study committees, such as those on transportation and growth management, among others, and serve on the Candidate Evaluation Committees.
"To promote good government that is open, effective and accountable in order to improve the caliber of public officials and the quality of public decisions, and to assist our community to identify and efficiently solve its problems and reach its goals through active and broad-based participation of citizens in government."
