Description
MUKTI is a social organization dedicated to helping physically challenged people. Inaugurated on 14th April 1986, the patron members include the following eminent people.
Objective: is to provide Free Artificial Upper, Lower Limbs & Calipers without any bias, to all the amputees and polio victims seeking our help.
MUKTI has been involved in fitting custom made artificial limbs and hands to amputees in India. This is done by setting up camps in and around Chennai and Andhra Pradesh and in Nepal. First International camp using HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) technology was conducted at St. Lucia in West Indies, in Association with Rotary International.
