- Over the past decade of teaching, my feelings and beliefs on education have changed dramatically as I have gone from being an educator to being the educated. This is the realization I would hope all educators would find early in their career as it was one of the most difficult lessons I have learned while being the most fulfilling from a personal standpoint. Knowing how to take part in the education of my students has given me unprecedented personal growth and has enhanced my love of teaching immeasurably. Learning, even for an educator, is a life-long process that has taught me to be more adaptive to the needs of the students I teach.
