About Us
Mr. Gee's Tire is a locally-owned and operated company. It was founded in 1972 by Paul and Carolyn Gagnon. Paul started the company working out of his garage seven days a week making wholesale deliveries all over New Hampshire and Vermont. Eight months later, Paul's brother Dick joined the company and went on the road as well. In 1976 they purchased seven acres of land on the Goffstown and New Boston town line and built a barn to store all of the wholesale tires. In 1978 they opened the barn as a "retail tire store." Paul's son Mike began working there as a young teenager after school. However, after high school he went to Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH, to pursue a degree in Aviation Management and Flight Operations. Once he received his Bachelor's degree, he woked as a flight instructor at the Concerd, NH airport. Within a few years, Mike was offered the opportunity to come back to Mr. Gee's and purchase the company. After working there for several more years, he bought Mr. Gee's Tire Corp. in 1997, making him a second-generation owner. Paul and Dick still go on the road making wholesale deliveries daily and Mike stays at the barn to oversee the retail division. Between the three of them, there are several years of knowledge and expertise on all types of tires from wheelbarrows to earth movers.
